Deans Marsh Common School No. 1025
Deans Marsh Common School No. 1025, circa 1870. Located at Mackey's Corner (near the present day intersection of Parkers Rd and Deans Marsh-Winchelsea Rd). The enrolment in 1870 had 53 students divided amongst 16 families. This school closed in 1872 when the School's committee was unable to obtain legal possession of the land. A new school was built and officially opened on its present day site in 1875.
